Cecily Holder

Social Worker

My name is Cecily Holder, and my current professional career is medical social worker.  I am a licensed bachelor social worker with a master’s in social work as well.  I have worked in many different fields as a social worker from nursing homes, hospital, geri-psychiatric hospital and hospice.  I have been in the social work field for 7 years.  Before that I worked in the insurance industry in health and life insurance from 2000 to 2011.  I enjoyed working in the insurance business, but really wanted to work with people hands on and not after life or with health insurance. I have lived in the West Texas area most of my life, only moving away for college.  I met my husband of 17 years at Texas A&M. We dated for four years as he finished up college and married in June of 2000. We have been blessed with two wonderful children; our son is 14 years old and our daughter is 10.  My family and I love West Texas and look forward to spending many years here in the desert.
